Sunday 16th November 2024 - 10am -2pm SA TIME $165 per person

In this class we’re going to a sponge cake. My sponge cake comes together in 5 mins and has 3 ingredients, and you end up looking like Martha Stewart when you make this one.

Next is the unforgettable light and fluffy Scone. There are only 2 ingredients in these scones but to quote my favourite movie The Castle…. “It’s what you do with it” You’re never going to make rock scones again!

After that we’ll make a delightful Spinach and Ricotta Filo Scroll, even making the Ricotta ourselvesfrom scratch. This one is a classy looking delicious lunch dish.

We’re going to make a version of My Grandpa’s Cake called the Spiced Pear Cake, I mean, look at it…. it’s just beautiful!

Finally we are going to make Chocolate Swirl Pavs. These are a crowd pleaser and I can’t wait to share all of these recipes and techniques with you.

So bring a friend or family member, or come on your own and enjoy a hands on day of fun and deliciousness!

About The Post & Rail:
The Post and Rail is a Cooking , Gardening & Art School located at 7 Bill James Court Compton, on a 5 picturesque acre property. In a normal home kitchen designed to provide a relaxed and sociable, learning experience.  Please allow an extra 10 mins travel time from the centre of Mount Gambier.
