Master the Art of the Pressure Cooker 07/06/25
To think you can get Beef Ribs, and meltingly tender Pulled Pork within 30 minutes, using a pressure cooker? Count me in.
I love this class. This is a game changer when it comes to cooking. Why? because it saves you time, lots and lots of time!
It’s so easy to use, I never touch any of the suggested buttons, just manual cook time and I can take things that take many many hours to cook and get them to the table in a short amount of time. This is going to blow your mind. (well it blows my mind anyway!)
If you remember looking around the corner at the about to explode, stove top pressure cooker, then you’re going to love using these new ones. They’re not expensive, and you get something that would normally take hours to cook, in 30 mins. Hello deliciousness!
Saturday 7th June 10am-2pm (SA Time) - $165 per person.

In this class we’re going to make beef short ribs in 30 minutes with sticky bbq sauce from scratch as well.
We’re also going to make Pulled Pork which used to take me hours to get meltingly tender and this is another 30 minutes wonder.
Now maybe you won’t be coming for the boston baked beans dish, but I’m quite confident that you’re going to be surprised how good these taste from a dried bean to packed with flavour in 40 minutes. When you think about it, beans are first soaked in boring water, then cooked in boring water and then put in a sauce. My method cooks and soak in flavoursome tomato and smoked hock with spices and herbs so that from the first moment the bean starts to absorb anything, it’s full of flavour. It would be worth it for this recipe and technique alone, but alas no one would book a class for baked beans! bahahah, but I’m going to sneak it in.
Finally, we’re going to make an indian lamb curry and I’ll show you the technique for cooking rice about the meat in the one pot.
This is a definite food lovers class and I can’t wait to share these recipes and this delicious meal with you. P.S. I’m going to also have a token gesture salad on the table, just so we look like we’re being good! bahahaha!
