8 different chapters and 4 preserving methods, this preserving “go-to” is filled with solutions to large and abundant crops, trouble shooting and funny stories of what can go wrong and the happy accidents.
“Hi, I’m Cindy and I’m so excited to share with you these methods and recipes that I’ve learnt and experimented with over the last 15 years. At my last property, I had my hands on over 100 different fruit trees and 46 different Citrus. At my new property, I thought I could keep the numbers to below 50…. but it turns out that my heart beats for fruit trees and produce and I’ve over 100 different fruit trees as we speak, but there’s 6 more coming in the mail, so let’s not cap the numbers too early!
In this time I’ve been able to get really efficient and have more fun with preserving, to the point that I never just preserve fruit to eat it later. I don’t just want to capture the flavour of summer to enjoy in the middle of winter. Oh, no, no, no. I aim to have something as good as the fruit or veg, just picked from the garden or even better.
The only problem is, that once you’ve had homemade preserves, it really spoils you for anything store bought!

This 100 page book is $60 which includes postage throughout Australia. That works out at less than $1 per recipe and even if there’s only 1 recipe that you fall in love with, that would be worth it. I am biased but I think they’re all wonderful. It also has loads of photos that I’ve taken myself to really capture the essence of colour and vibrancy that these preserves have.
I really appreciate you buying this book as it’s the result of lots of hands-on experience, efficiencies taught to me by my mum and a zest for sharing the knowledge with others. To be able to put my hand on my heart and share these recipes with you is a dream come true. I believe these methods are truly life changing/improving for anyone that’s interested in preserving, growing produce and that is a food lover. This also makes it remarkably simple for me to access all my favourite recipes for when I’m preserving, so it’s a win win. Thank you again.
