There's something rather wonderful about a bee when you stop and look at it closely. That fuzzy body, beautiful golden stripes and delicate transparent wings. I really enjoyed painting this one, particularly capturing all those tiny details that we don't normally get to appreciate as they buzz past us in the garden. I love how something so small can make such a statement on a canvas.
Every painting is hand-wrapped by me with a handwritten note — a piece of my studio sent straight to your home.
