There's something so romantic about a magnolia bud just beginning to open, especially when the morning sunlight catches those beautiful petals. I loved painting the fine details and the way the light seems to shine right through the soft pinks and creamy whites, making the flower almost glow. The rich, textured pink background adds another layer of warmth and beauty to this lovely celebration of spring.
Painted on a solid wooden block with a rustic finish, this piece can stand beautifully on a bookshelf or tabletop, or be hung on a wall.
Every painting is hand-wrapped by me with a handwritten note — a piece of my studio sent straight to your home.
Original painting 25cm x 25cm x 3cm wide Acrylic on solid wood block
