I love the colours in this painting, with the beautiful purples of the lavender against that soft, sky-blue background. The busy little bee is collecting pollen, completely absorbed in its work. I particularly enjoyed painting the contrast between the bee's golden, fuzzy body and the delicate lavender flowers. It's a lovely reminder of just how much life and activity is happening in our gardens every day.
Every painting is hand-wrapped by me with a handwritten note — a piece of my studio sent straight to your home.
Original painting 40 × 50cm x 3cm wide Acrylic on Canvas
