Colour Uncaged
Every now and again, I feel a burst of electrifying colour waiting to bubble out of me. The sky is the bluest blue, but the Australian bush can feel a little too burnished for what I want to paint. That’s when I lash out and let colour be my guide.
This cockatoo emerged against a rush of pink, orange, yellow and green. I loved painting the softness of its feathers and that bright, watchful eye amid all the wild colour.
Every painting is hand-wrapped by me with a handwritten note — a piece of my studio sent straight to your home.
Original painting · 40 × 50 cm
$295 including GST and small postage cost calculated at checkout.
