Another in my series of paintings on solid wooden blocks, this magnificent stag looks wonderful against the deep denim blue background. I loved playing with the light in this one, creating a beautiful, even glow across his face and impressive antlers. The touches of purple, copper and gold bring warmth and depth to the painting, while the dark background really makes him stand out. A striking piece with a lovely rustic appeal that can be displayed on a shelf or tabletop, or hung on a wall
Every painting is hand-wrapped by me with a handwritten note — a piece of my studio sent straight to your home.
Original painting 25cm x 25cm x 3cm wide Acrylic on solid wood block
