I adored painting these tulips, each one opening at its own pace. Some are still neatly tucked in bud, while others have spread their petals wide, showing off shades of pink, coral and plum.
I loved capturing the folds of the petals and the light along their edges, surrounded by sweeping green leaves and a fresh, golden-green background. This painting is pure spring on a canvas—full of colour, new growth and the pleasure of flowers coming into bloom.
Every painting is hand-wrapped by me with a handwritten note — a piece of my studio sent straight to your home.
Original painting · 40 × 50 cm x 4cm width
$495 including GST and small postage cost calculated at checkout.
