A Rose Rhapsody
Sometimes a David Austin rose is so beautiful that you want to bring it inside and look at it for a while. Here, a handful of roses spill from a clear glass vase, each bloom showing a different mix of peach, coral, blush pink and cream.
I found myself caught up in those colours as I painted—the warm centres, the cooler shadows and all the soft folds between. I kept the background quiet so the roses could have the attention they deserve.
Every painting is hand-wrapped by me with a handwritten note — a piece of my studio sent straight to your home.
