If you thought you can’t paint but you wish you could. Or perhaps you’d love to paint something you’d be proud to hang on your own wall, you are going to love this class. We are going to go through some basic painting techniques that I’ve learnt that really give you great results.
Whilst we’re painting a seascape in acrylic paint, we’ll go through some helpful beginner tips like blending colours, how to do your original sketch, how to finish your painting and get it ready for hanging. We’ll also talk about composition and values and how to get depth in your painting.
We start the class with freshly baked morning tea, tea or proper coffee and we end the day with a delicious Ploughman’s Lunch using local cheeses and my Chutney’s and Pickles that I’ve made from my garden. It also includes a glass of wine or a home made lemon squash.
You get all the notes from the day emailed to you so that you can reference them any time you want. Come on your own or bring a loved one for this fun, immersive class.
All you need to bring is yourself, I supply the canvas, aprons, paints and brushes and I can’t wait to get painting with you.
*Please advise if you would like to bring your own unique canvas or object to paint on as we normally paint on a 40cm x 50cm canvas but sometimes you have a spot that needs a bigger or smaller canvas or you might have a saw blade!
