Paint a Kookaburra at Apsley

If you thought, you can’t paint but you wish you could. Or perhaps you’d love to paint something you’d be proud to hang on your own wall, you are going to love this class. We are going to go through some basic painting techniques that I’ve learnt that really give you great results.

Whilst we’re painting a Kookaburra, we’ll go through some helpful beginner tips like blending colours, how to do your original sketch, how to finish your painting and get it ready for hanging. We’ll also talk about composition and values and how to get depth in your painting.

A delicious lunch is at the pub where we are painting and everyone orders and pays for their own meal on the day as it’s not included in the price of the class.

You get all the notes from the day emailed to you so that you can reference them any time you want.

All you need to bring is yourself, I supply the canvas, aprons, paints and brushes and I can’t wait to get painting with you.
