Paint the Nativity - A Christmas Watercolour Workshop 17/12/26

$185.00

Paint the Nativity: A Christmas Watercolour Workshop

Christmas can become so busy that it’s lovely to pause, take a breath and remember the reason for the season.

In this special Christmas workshop, you’ll be able to choose from numerous watercolour nativity inspirations to create a beautiful painting plus there’s time for learning some techniques to help you create.

There is something so lovely about creating a Christmas decoration with your own hands—especially one that can be brought out each year and become part of your family’s Christmas traditions.

Watercolour has a beautiful softness that suits this scene perfectly. We’ll explore washes, layering and the contrast between warm light and cool shadows, while learning how to suggest figures, fabric, timber and straw without becoming caught up in tiny details.

You don’t need to know how to draw or have any previous painting experience. I’ll show you how to build the scene from the first light sketch through to the final details, while still giving you room to make your painting your own.
